The extended deadline got us some more nice pieces! Thanks a lot to everyone that submitted. The pack collection phase is over now and our team tries to finish up the pack as soon as possible! 21 submissions... a lot to sort out.

Due to some requests we're extending the deadline for the goodbye terragen pack for another two weeks. We already have lots of eyecatching submissions! So... rawk on. Show them that you're the best in using terragen

As an update to the contest below (yay for re-opening of TerraPro!) We need to make one thing very clear. If you want to remain on the members list you must enter this contest. If you don't you will have to reapply to join once the Terragen2 preview program has been released. This is for all our benefits: you should see the size of the list as it stands, and all the dead weight in there.

To clarify:

With Terragen 2's beta closing in fast we will not be using Terragen v0.9 for much longer. All of us have spent plenty of time with this program, and we are going to be moving on for something bigger and better. So now it is time to say Goodbye. We here at TerraPro want to dedicate the next pack to Terragen itself. This is our chance to say goodbye to the program that has changed our artistic life.

So what is the theme? Nothing! Show us why you love Terragen. Show us there was a reason for spending those long hours and maybe even sleepless nights on the program. We would love to see this pack full of amazing pieces. This is why we are giving you till 29th May. We really would love to see two months of work in these renders. I do not want to see a couple days worth of work! We are also allowing postwork, so use it!

This will be our last pack until Terragen 2 is released. So I urge you to participate. We are giving you so many chances to. There are absolutely no limitations to the postwork, there is no theme, and we are giving you 2 months to complete the piece! With that in mind I want to say these should be your pride and joy! Make us and yourself proud!

So with that said, open up Terragen, World Machine, and Terraformer and get crackin! You have two months to create something astounding!

Depending on the interest in this contest we decide the Future of TerraPro. No matter how the results are, TerraPro will become a bit simpler and easier to handle for the Team.

All applications must be sent in a note to this account with the header "TerraPro Member Application". You will be noted whether or not you're successful. Decisions will be made by the Admins or Directors based on your Terragen usage exprience, general DeviantART experience, and the quality of your gallery. Comments on the Mainpage and THIS journal entry will not be ignored, but they will NOT be considered in important subjects or decisions. We are only interested notes and poll results in this respect. Please respond to the polls!
